While looking through the window of ancient history in Ephesus and Hierapolis, you will witness the miracles of nature in Cappadocia and Pamukkale. The Cappadocian Region will be visited with its valley, canyon, hills and unusual rock formation created as a result of the eroding rains and winds of thousands of years of the level presents an otherworldly appearance. Pamukkale is another extraordinary region. Besides travertines, the great Roman amphitheater of Hierapolis should not be missed, and lies just above the travertines. Ephesus is an ancient Greek city and a large archaeological site, also famous for its Temple of Artemis.

Day 1 Cappadocia: Arrival in Kayseri/Nevsehir — Transfer to Hotel with overnight stay in Cappadocia

You will begin your tour with a transfer from Kayseri/Nevşehir airport to your hotel in Cappadocia. Rest of the day will be free. You can explore on your own.

Day 2 Cappadocia: North Cappadocia Tour with overnight stay in Cappadocia
(Included Meals: Breakfast & Lunch)

After breakfast around 9:30 am you will be picked up from your hotel to join the full day tour of North Cappadocia.

DEVRENT VALLEY: Devrent is situated on the northern slopes of Aktepe, 1km from Pasabaglari (Monks’ Valley) and 5 km from Avanos. The ruins at Devrent are spread over three valleys, which also house several pointed fairy chimneys with large stems.

MONKS VALLEY: The best place to see three-headed fairy chimneys. Pasabag, the Pasha’s Vineyard, is surrounded by incredible natural rock formations; a spectacular scene.

AVANOS: A center of terra cotta work of art since 3000 BC, it is a town where you will be invited to visit a traditional pottery workshop, which is possibly set deep into the hillsides. The clay, which comes from the Red River passing through the town, gives life both to the land and to the local economy.

GOREME OPEN AIR MUSEUM: Goreme was an important Christian center in the early years of the Middle Ages, was a bishopric administered by Mokissos near Aksaray in the 11th and 13th centuries. Despite the vast number of monasteries, churches and chapels in the vicinity of Göreme, there are not many inscriptions bearing dates. For this reason, these religious buildings are mainly dated according to the iconography or architectural features.

UCHISAR: Uchisar is a troglodyte town situated right in the middle of Cappadocia. It is named after the enormous piece of rock in the center of the town, which was once used as a castle. This extraordinary rock is the highest peak of the area with the view of whole Cappadocia and Erciyes (Argeus) Mountain.

Finally towards the end of the day tour before returning to your hotel, you will be able to visit the natural castles of Uchisar. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 3 Cappadocia: South Cappadocia Tour — Overnight Bus to Pamukkale

After breakfast at the hotel around 9:30  you will be picked up and met by your tour guide to begin your full-day tour of South Cappadocia. Your tour guide will brief you on the day’s activities. Your tour will begin with a visit to the Red Valley where you will be able to explore the famous rock-cut churches and hike approximately 5 km through the Güllüdere (Rose) Valley.

CAVUSIN: One of the oldest settlements in the area, Cavusin is situated 2km from Goreme, on the Göreme-Avanos road. The Church of St.John the Baptist offers a panoramic view of the village. This church and its paintings date back to the 5th century, making the oldest church in the region. It also has a large courtyard which is unusual for Cappadocia, however, much of it has eroded away.

KAYMAKLI: Kaymakli and Derinkuyu underground cities are the two largest and deepest of the 40 others in Cappadocia. They both have eight floors, although not all are open to the public.

HOSPITAL MONASTERY: One of the oldest monasteries in Cappadocia.

PIGEON HOUSE: Visit the pigeon houses and rock formations.

This will be the end of your full-day tour. After the tour, you will travel overnight to Pamukkale in a non-smoking, fully air-conditioned local bus departing the bus station at approximately 21:00. The total duration of travel will be 10 hours. There will be three breaks on the way to Pamukkale for your personal needs.

Day 4 Kusadasi: Pamukkale Tour with overnight stay in Kusadasi

Upon your arrival at the Pamukkale / Denizli main bus station between 05:30 – 06:00, you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel to freshen up. You will have time to have breakfast and a short rest. Around 09:30 you will be picked up from the hotel to begin your guided tour of the Pamukkale and Hierapolis area with a profession licensed tour guide. Around 10:00 you will visit the first destination of Karahayit to see the Red Spring Waters. After Karahayit we will drive to Pamukkale and begin the visit to the ancient city of Hierapolis around 10:30. The highlights of Hierapolis are Necropolis, Roman Baths, Domitian Gate, Latrina, Oil Factory, Frontinious Street, Agora, Byzantium Gate, Triton Fountain, Cathedral, Apollon Temple, Plutonium, Theater and Antique Pool. You will also be able to take some photos from the nicest corners of Pamukkale. Around 12:30 you will be given some free time for approximately 60 minutes to explore the natural beauties of Pamukkale. As an option, you may choose to swim in the Pamukkale Antique Pools (at own expense) during this free time. At 13:30 you will meet the guide and will get a chance to walk in the middle of the Pamukkale travertines (Cotton Castle) from top to down without shoes and socks. At 14:30 you will be taken for lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch at approximately 15:30 you will visit an Onyx Factory for approximately 30 minutes. At the end of the tour around approximately 16:00, you will begin your drive to Kusadasi (approximately 3 hours). We will drop you to your hotel in Kusadasi.

Day 5 Kusadasi: Ephesus Tour — End of Services

After breakfast at the hotel around 8:30 you will be picked up and met by your tour guide to begin your full-day tour of Ephesus. Your tour guide will brief you on the day’s activities. 

You will visit the ancient ruins of the City of Hierapolis. The highlights of Hierapolis are Necropolis, Roman Baths, Basilica, Domitian Gate, Latrina, Frontinious Street, Agora, Byzantium Gate, Triton Fountain, Cathedral, Apollon Temple, Plutonium. You will also be able to take some photos from the nicest corners of Pamukkale.

Hıerapolis Theatre: The theatre of Hierapolis is one of the best-preserved entertainment destinations that dates back to the second century, the audience section could hold up to 10,000 and be used to show everything from music, religious ceremonies and even performing live shows. While the theatre isn’t used to put on live entertainment anymore, the seating all around can be explored and used by visitors.

Agora: Agora is an ancient market where many of the population would have come to so shopping or to trade their good with other people who travelled. While the marketplace is only one part of the city. Outside the city is a Necropolis which was made popular thanks to the believed healing properties of the different water. This cemetery has people from different peoples across many time periods.

Karahayit Red Springs: Karahayit hot springs is located in Karahayit Town, Denizli, Turkey. It’s about 5 km north of the famous Pamukkale Travertine and has similar characteristics like that of Pamukkale. Due to the minerals existing in its structure, the hot spring water spreads reddish color to the environment and it is believed that they provide healing to the visitors for 5000 years. The ‘Red Spring Waters‘ which translates to red water – natural hot thermal springs bubbling from beneath the calcite rocks – are very rich in calcium, magnesium and sulphurs, at about 56 degrees.

Pamukkale Travertines "Cotton Castle": Pamukkale is a spectacular place, located in Denizli Province, in southwestern Turkey known for the mineral-rich thermal waters flowing down white travertine terraces. The Pamukkale Travertines mean “Cotton Castle” in Turkish. The place is classified by UNESCO.

Hierapolis Antique Pool: Pamukkale's Antique Pool remains from Roman times when it was the spiritual center of the spa city of Hierapolis. The modernized pool is the prime public place for a swim at this hot-springs resort.

At the end of the tour, you will be transferred to the airport or to your hotel depending on your schedule. END OF OUR SERVICE and TOURS.
